It is a happy new year indeed for SEZARC! Over the next few months, SEZARC will be joined by a couple of visiting student scientists who will work on projects investigating reproduction in red river hogs and pygmy hippos. We are also pleased to welcome students from the University of North Florida back to the lab bench after their winter break! Currently, these students participate in our giant river otter and tiger projects. Last but not least, we are very excited for Dr. Jennifer Wyffels to join the SEZARC team. She will be continuing the study on stingray ovarian disease and coordinating a new project for artificial insemination of sand tiger sharks!
