2017 brought a new member to our ranks, Zoo Miami, giving us 14 members in reproduction and conservation. Our labs completed over 40 requests for service work for non-member facilities. Staff produced or co-authored two papers, three book chapters and seven abstracts on multiple species and reproduction topics. We were able to assist in 10 pregnancies of 8 species, five of which resulted in a baby, and five of which are due to give birth in 2018. Through collaboration, research and teamwork, we look forward to an even greater year in 2018.
